(L) (PHYS I) Physics I incorporates high school Disciplinary Core Ideas, Science and Engineering Practices, and Crosscutting Concepts to help students gain a three dimensional understanding of Physics topics. Disciplinary Core Ideas for this course include Forces and Interactions, Energy, Wave Properties, and Electromagnetic Radiation. Instruction focuses on the observation of phenomena to develop an understanding of how scientific knowledge is acquired.
