IU is committed to supporting cohesion, visibility, and collaboration across the IU campuses. Through the Office of School Partnerships, P-12 initiatives are documented and shared with P-12 policy leaders to enable IU to be a responsive and trusted partner in the state’s P-12 ecosystem.
In August, over 200 education leaders from across Indiana gathered in
Indianapolis at the P-12 Education Summit to renew connections and shape
the future of education.
As a demonstration of IU’s dedication to listen to P-12 leaders and communities and coordinate P-12 engagement statewide, the Summit focused on enhancing partnerships that are mutually beneficial, community-centered, reciprocal, and sustainable over time and across various contexts. The conference succeeded in creating a central space for ongoing collaboration and resource sharing among
IU’s campuses and their P-12 partners.
