Youth Serving Programs

Youth-Serving Programs (YSP) Network connects IU faculty and staff dedicated to growing and sustaining high-quality programs for Indiana youth. We convene to share best practices, exchange resources, and collaborate on everything from logistics and operations to inclusive teaching for camps and events.

Together, we are working to boost education and career readiness for youth across the state.

Free Professional Development Courses

In partnership with youth development experts, we offer three free, self-paced courses on IU Expand (Canvas). Designed for maximum flexibility, these courses can be taken in any order—explore what interests you or assign specific modules to your staff and volunteers. Digital badges available for all courses.

What’s Included:

  • Working with Youth: Interactive modules to help your team effectively engage youth.
  • Launching Youth Programs: Practical guidelines, templates, and best practices for designing and managing youth programs.
  • K-12 Career Exploration: Grade-level career exploration curricula and activities for a wide audience.
